Whether students hope to pursue music beyond high school or simply love playing with others, Edina Bands offer opportunities to learn, contribute, and belong. Our program brings together students in grades 9–12 through concert bands, jazz, marching band, and other musical experiences. Students develop their skills, explore new challenges, and build friendships through the shared work of making music.

Band is a place to practice perseverance, listen closely, and discover what a group can accomplish together. Our directors help students grow as individual musicians while learning to contribute to an ensemble.

Through rehearsals and performances, students build confidence, express their creativity, and share their music with the community.

The Edina band experience begins in fifth grade and continues through middle and high school. Teachers across the program work together to help students build skills and feel prepared for each next step.
